Ewa Karbownik

Die Künstlerin ist seit 1980 mit der Künstlerischen Handwerkskooperative „Künstlerische Keramik und Töpferwaren“ verbunden, seit 1994 ist sie Musterdesignerin.

Künstlerische Inspirationen stammen aus der Vorstellungskraft. Es ist eine enorme Kraft, die die Menschen in sich tragen. Durch die Vorstellungskraft können Menschen ihre Sensibilität entwickeln und die Fähigkeit, Schönheit in der Welt zu sehen. Alles, was man tun muss, ist sich hinzugeben, und der künstlerische Prozess beginnt automatisch. Ein weiterer entscheidender Moment ist das Übertragen der vorgestellten Welt auf ein bestimmtes Material. Fähigkeiten und Erfahrung sind dann unerlässlich. Sowohl die Vorstellungskraft als auch die Technik erfordern unaufhörliche Selbstentwicklung.
