This large oval baking dish and serving bowl in Polish Pottery by Ceramika Artystyczna combines everyday practicality, traditional craftsmanship and a beautifully decorative appearance.

The external dimensions are approx. 27 × 19 cm, the height is approx. 5.6 cm, the weight approx. 1.05 kg, and the maximum water capacity up to overflow is approx. 1.5 litres.

The base measures approx. 22.5 × 14 cm, giving the dish a stable position on the kitchen worktop, dining table or buffet table.

This shape is available in 5 different sizes, and this version is the third largest in the series.

It is a particularly practical size, offering a very good balance between generous capacity and comfortable handling.

The dish can be used not only as a classic baking dish, but also as a serving bowl, salad bowl, fruit bowl, bread bowl, buffet dish and decorative container.

A major advantage of this beautiful ceramic dish is that food can be prepared and then served in the same piece.

Lasagne, potato gratin, vegetables, meat dishes or desserts do not need to be transferred into another serving dish after cooking.

The attractive Polish Pottery can be placed directly on the table, making the baking dish itself part of the table setting.

The area of approx. 27 × 19 cm provides enough space for several small herb pots.

Basil

Parsley

Chives

Thyme

Rosemary

Oregano

Mint

Coriander

Marjoram

Because the ceramic bowl itself has no drainage holes, it is advisable to leave the herbs in small pots or suitable plant inserts and place these inside the bowl.

This makes it easier to control excess water.

The entire herb arrangement can then be moved as one unit.

It can stand by the kitchen window, be moved to the worktop while cooking or placed directly on the dining table.

In suitable weather, the small herb garden can also be moved to the balcony or terrace.

For growing cress

Cress is particularly easy to grow.

A shallow insert or small growing tray can be placed inside the ceramic dish.

After only a few days, a fresh green surface begins to develop.

Fresh cress is excellent with

Salads

Soups

For microgreens

The bowl can also be used for growing microgreens in small inserts or planting trays.

Basil

Parsley

Lettuce

Flowers

Herbs

The individual pots remain together in one attractive bowl and can easily be moved as a group to a sunnier position.

Low table arrangements can be created particularly beautifully.

They have an important advantage on a festive table because guests can still see each other and talk comfortably across the decoration.

For weddings and celebrations

With flowers, moss, small plants, branches and other natural materials, the ceramic bowl can be transformed into an elegant table decoration.

Several bowls can be combined along long wedding tables.

After the celebration, the pottery can be cleaned and used again in the kitchen or for serving food.

For spring decoration

In spring, the bowl can be decorated with different natural materials.

Moss

Spring flowers
