This versatile Polish Pottery jug by Ceramika Artystyczna is a charming all-rounder for the kitchen, dining table, breakfast, coffee table, café, restaurant, hotel and buffet.

At the same time, it can easily be transformed into a small flower vase or an attractive decorative ceramic vessel.

The jug is approx. 12 cm high and has a maximum water capacity of approx. 460 ml when filled to the brim. Its practical size makes it ideal for milk, juice, wine, cocoa, cold tea, homemade syrups, sauces, dressings and many other uses.

The top opening measures approx. 8.5 cm at its longest side and approx. 6.5 cm at its shortest side. The base has a diameter of approx. 5.5 cm, while the jug weighs approx. 0.35 kg / 350 g.

The handle makes the jug comfortable to hold, while the pronounced pouring spout helps to pour liquids in a controlled manner.

Milk Jug for Breakfast and the Coffee Table

One of the classic uses for this beautiful jug is serving milk.

Milk can be presented in it at breakfast, brunch or with afternoon coffee. It is a lovely companion for coffee, black tea, chai, cocoa and many other drinks.

On a beautifully laid breakfast table, the small ceramic jug can be combined with cups, plates, butter dishes and other pieces of Polish Pottery to create an inviting table setting.

For Baristas, Milk and Milk Foam

The jug is also an attractive addition to a home coffee station, café or professional catering environment.

It can be used for serving and pouring milk as well as for presenting milk foam that has already been prepared. Cappuccino, latte macchiato, café au lait and cocoa can therefore be accompanied by a beautiful ceramic serving piece.

If milk is to be heated or frothed directly inside the jug, this should only be done using a method specifically approved by the manufacturer for this particular ceramic item. Do not place the jug directly on a hob or other direct heat source without appropriate manufacturer approval.

For Cocoa and Chocolate Drinks

The jug can also be used to serve cocoa beautifully.

At a cosy breakfast or winter coffee table, prepared hot cocoa can be presented in the jug and poured into individual cups.

It is also suitable for serving chocolate sauce or other sweet sauces at a dessert table or buffet.

For Juice at Breakfast

Orange juice, apple juice, grape juice, cherry juice or mixed fruit juice can be served in individual portions using the jug.

This is particularly attractive for hotels, guest houses, breakfast cafés and restaurants where drinks do not always have to be placed on the table in ordinary bottles or glasses.

At home, it can turn an everyday breakfast into a more carefully presented occasion.

As a Small Wine Jug

The jug can also be used to serve smaller quantities of wine.

White wine, rosé or red wine can be presented in individual portions at the table. The ceramic jug is particularly charming alongside a rustic dinner, cheese platter, antipasti or Mediterranean meal.

For comfortable and safe pouring, the actual serving quantity should remain below the maximum 460 ml brimful capacity.

For Water and Infused Water

The jug is also suitable for serving individual portions of water.

For a restaurant, café or the home, a lovely idea is infused water with ingredients such as

Lemon

Lime

Mint

Cucumber

Orange

Berries

Rosemary

The infused water can be prepared beforehand in a larger container and then served in individual portions using the ceramic jug.

For Homemade Iced Tea

The jug is ideal for serving homemade iced tea in individual portions.

Especially during summer, several varieties of tea can be prepared in advance, chilled and then presented in small jugs.

This even makes it possible to offer each guest a different flavour.

Recipe: Lemon and Mint Iced Tea

Prepare black or green tea and allow it to cool completely.

Add fresh lemon juice, a few mint leaves and, according to taste, a little honey or sugar syrup.

Serve well chilled.

A slice of lemon and some fresh mint provide a particularly summery presentation.

Recipe: Peach Iced Tea

Prepare black tea and allow it to cool.

Purée ripe peaches or cut them into small pieces and add them to the tea with a little lemon juice.

Sweeten lightly with peach syrup, honey or sugar according to taste.

Chill thoroughly and serve in the ceramic jug.

Recipe: Raspberry and Hibiscus Iced Tea

Brew a strong hibiscus tea and allow it to cool completely.

Add fresh or lightly crushed raspberries.

Season with a little lemon or lime juice.

For a sweeter version, add a small amount of raspberry syrup or honey.

The intense colour of the drink creates a beautiful contrast with the decorative patterns of the Polish Pottery.

Recipe: Apple and Cinnamon Iced Tea

Prepare a fruit tea or mild black tea and allow it to cool.

Add apple juice and a few thin slices of apple.

Flavour with a small amount of cinnamon.

Served cold during summer, it makes an interesting alternative to traditional lemon iced tea.

Recipe: Green Tea with Lime and Cucumber

Prepare green tea and allow it to cool.

Add a few thin slices of cucumber, lime juice and fresh mint.

Sweeten lightly with honey or syrup if desired.

Serve thoroughly chilled.

For Homemade Syrups

The small jug is also excellent for serving homemade syrups.

The syrup can be placed separately on the table so that every guest can decide how sweet or intense their drink should be.

Syrups are ideal for sparkling water, iced tea, desserts, ice cream, cocktails and alcohol-free mixed drinks.

Recipe: Lemon and Mint Syrup

200 ml water

200 g sugar

Juice and a little grated zest from one unwaxed lemon

A small handful of fresh mint

Heat the water and sugar while stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the lemon and mint and allow the mixture to infuse briefly.

Strain, cool and store in the refrigerator.

For serving, pour a small amount of syrup into the jug and offer it alongside sparkling water.

Recipe: Raspberry and Vanilla Syrup

250 g raspberries

200 g sugar

200 ml water

A little vanilla

Slowly heat the ingredients and allow them to simmer gently for several minutes.

Strain through a fine sieve and allow to cool.

The syrup is delicious with sparkling water, iced tea, desserts, yoghurt and ice cream.

Recipe: Elderflower and Lemon Syrup

Elderflower syrup combines beautifully with fresh lemon.

For a quick version, mix a little elderflower syrup with lemon juice and serve it in the small jug.

Guests can dilute the mixture themselves with sparkling or still water according to taste.

Recipe: Ginger and Lemon Syrup

Cut fresh ginger into thin slices and simmer gently for several minutes with water and sugar.

Add lemon juice, allow the mixture to infuse and then strain.

Once cooled, it becomes an aromatic syrup for sparkling water, tea and alcohol-free drinks.

For Olive Oil and Vinegar

On a Mediterranean-style table, the jug can also be used for serving olive oil or vinegar.

It is particularly useful with fresh bread, salads, antipasti, tomatoes, mozzarella or grilled vegetables.

For longer-term storage, oil and vinegar should be kept in suitable containers that can be properly sealed. This jug is particularly suitable for short-term presentation and serving at the table or buffet.

Recipe: Mediterranean Herb Oil for Serving

Flavour olive oil with finely chopped or dried rosemary, thyme and oregano.

A little lemon zest can also be added.

Serve the oil with fresh bread, grilled vegetables or antipasti.

When using fresh ingredients such as garlic or fresh herbs, prepare the oil fresh, keep it refrigerated and use it promptly.

Recipe: Honey Mustard Dressing

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp mild vinegar

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp honey

Salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and serve the dressing in the jug.

This allows each guest to pour their preferred amount of dressing over their salad.

For Sauces and Dressings

In addition to oil and vinegar, many different cold sauces and dressings can be served in the jug.

For example

Yoghurt dressing

Herb dressing

Vinaigrette

Honey mustard dressing

Tomato dipping sauce

Dessert sauce

Vanilla sauce

Fruit sauce

Especially in restaurants or at buffets, the ceramic jug can provide an attractive alternative to conventional serving containers.

As a Small Flower Vase

After breakfast, the jug can easily be transformed into a small flower vase.

Individual flowers or small bouquets look particularly attractive, including

Tulips

Daisies

Roses

Lavender

Wildflowers

Baby's breath

Herb sprigs

Seasonal garden flowers

Placed on a breakfast table, windowsill, sideboard, in a guest room or on a restaurant table, the jug creates a charming floral decoration.

For Table Decorations at Special Occasions

Several jugs in different patterns can be distributed across tables at weddings, birthdays, family celebrations or garden parties and used as small vases.

Each jug can be decorated with just a few flowers or branches.

Combining different Polish Pottery patterns can create a lively, individual and particularly charming overall table arrangement.

For Restaurants, Cafés and Hotels

In professional hospitality, the jug offers many different uses.

It can be used for milk with coffee, juice at breakfast, salad dressing, sauces, syrup, olive oil, vinegar or as a small table vase.

In cafés, it can be served alongside coffee or tea.

In hotels, it can form part of the breakfast buffet.

In restaurants, it is suitable for dressings, oil, vinegar or smaller portions of drinks.

For Catering and Buffets

The jug is equally versatile on a buffet.

Several jugs can be used for different contents, such as

Olive oil

Vinegar

Salad dressing

Syrup

Sauces

Milk

Juice

Cold tea specialities

For buffet use, clearly labelling the contents of each jug is particularly useful.

As a Decorative Jug in the Kitchen and Home

Even when empty, the jug can be displayed decoratively on a shelf, sideboard, kitchen table or inside a display cabinet.

It can be filled with dried flowers, decorative branches or seasonal materials.

Flowering branches are lovely in spring, wildflowers in summer, dried grasses in autumn and fir branches or other seasonal decorations in winter.

An Unusual Idea for the Desk and Hobby Room

The jug does not have to be used exclusively for food.

As a decorative container, it can hold pens, pencils, paintbrushes and other small utensils.

The uses should, however, be kept clearly separate. If a jug is permanently used in a workshop, hobby room or for other non-food purposes, it should not subsequently be returned to use with food or drinks.

For the Workshop

The jug can even be used in a workshop as a decorative container or for the temporary handling of suitable working fluids.

For oils, lubricants or other technical liquids, however, compatibility with the ceramic body and glaze must first be checked.

Aggressive, toxic, corrosive or solvent-containing substances should not be placed in the jug without explicit confirmation of material compatibility.

Once a jug has been used for technical oils or other workshop substances, it should no longer be used for food or beverages.

One Jug with a Surprising Number of Uses

In the morning, it can bring milk or juice to the breakfast table. With coffee, it can hold milk or already prepared milk foam. At lunchtime, it becomes a serving jug for dressing, olive oil or vinegar. In the afternoon, it can present homemade iced tea or syrup, while in the evening a small portion of wine can be served in it.

After the meal, it can become a vase for fresh flowers or a decorative jug for the kitchen and living area.

This small Polish Pottery jug by Ceramika Artystyczna is therefore much more than a traditional serving vessel. It is a versatile ceramic piece for the home, restaurants, cafés, hotels, catering, buffets and decorative use.
