Recipe Inspiration

Traditional Polish Pierogi Dough

Ingredients:

  • 500 g wheat flour

  • 250 ml warm water

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.

  2. Add the egg and warm water gradually.

  3. Knead into a smooth dough and let rest for 20 minutes.

  4. Roll out with your Polish pottery rolling pin to approx. 2–3 mm.

  5. Cut circles, fill with potato-cheese or meat filling and cook in salted water.

 

Homemade Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 200 g Butter

  • 150 g Sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 350 g Flour

  • Vanilla or lemon zest

Instructions:

  1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy.

  2. Add egg and mix well.

  3. Knead in flour and flavouring.

  4. Roll out the dough evenly with your Ceramika Artystyczna rolling pin.

  5. Cut shapes, bake at 180°C for 10–12 min until golden.
