« S’il y a bien une chose qu’il sait vraiment faire, c’est écrire… »

En 1990, j’ai commencé ma formation de cuisinier dans la gastronomie haut de gamme. Elle a été suivie d’une formation scolaire complémentaire au FOS12 en nutrition, durant laquelle j’ai également été représentant des élèves pour plus de 1 000 étudiants du second cycle. J’ai ensuite passé un an dans une école monastique, avec une spécialisation dans les maladies liées à l’alimentation, la pédagogie et la psychologie.

« Médecins Sans Frontières » a toujours été mon rêve — un rêve qui est resté vivant en moi pendant toutes ces années. À l’époque, il ne me manquait que six mois d’enseignement d’une deuxième langue étrangère (le français) pour être admis à l’université. Et je n’ai jamais vraiment accroché aux cinq heures de latin hebdomadaires à l’école monastique…

Intérieurement, j’ai changé de voie — ISM.

Une grande partie de mes connaissances scolaires me sert encore au quotidien, mais c’est l’artiste en moi qui a véritablement enrichi ma vie.

EINZIGARTIG

Le grossiste en poterie polonaise « Einzigartig » de Rheine est depuis plus de 25 ans un partenaire étroit et un concepteur de formes pour deux ateliers de poterie polonais.

L’arrière-grand-père de l’actuel PDG, Christian Kindervater, était maître-potier et possédait son propre atelier en Silésie : Gustav Laske.
