  • 2 organic lemons

  • 1 l water

  • 500 g organic cane sugar

Preparation:

  1. Wash flowers, slice lemons.

  2. Boil water with sugar, pour over flowers & lemon, let steep 24 hrs.

  3. Strain and serve chilled in Polish pottery pitchers.

 

2. Koldskål (Buttermilk Drink)

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 l organic buttermilk

  • 250 ml organic cream

  • 2 organic egg yolks

  • 3 tbsp organic sugar

  • 1 tsp organic vanilla

Preparation:

  1. Beat yolks with sugar & vanilla until creamy.

  2. Stir in buttermilk and cream.

  3. Serve chilled in Polish pottery cups, optionally with kammerjunkere cookies.

 

3. Gløgg (Danish Winter Punch)

Ingredients (approx. 1.5 l):

  • 1 l organic red wine

  • 200 ml organic apple juice

  • 100 ml organic rum

  • 2 organic cinnamon sticks

  • 5 organic cloves

  • 100 g organic almonds, chopped

  • 100 g organic raisins

Preparation:

  1. Heat wine & apple juice with spices (do not boil).

  2. Add rum, almonds & raisins.

  3. Serve steaming hot in Polish pottery mugs.
