1. Smørrebrød with Pickled Herring & Onion

 

Ingredients (4 pieces):

  • 4 slices organic rye bread

  • 4 organic pickled herring fillets

  • 1 organic red onion, sliced into rings

  • 1 organic apple, thinly sliced

  • Fresh organic dill

Preparation:

  1. Lightly butter the bread.

  2. Place herring fillets on top, add onion rings & apple slices.

  3. Garnish with fresh dill.

 

2. Smørrebrød with Roast Beef & Remoulade

 

Ingredients (4 pieces):

  • 4 slices organic rye bread

  • 200 g organic roast beef, thinly sliced

  • 4 tbsp organic remoulade

  • 2 tbsp organic fried onions

  • Organic pickled cucumber slices

Preparation:

  1. Spread remoulade on the bread.

  2. Layer roast beef slices, sprinkle with fried onions.

  3. Garnish with cucumber slices.

 

3. Smørrebrød with Egg & Shrimp

 

Ingredients (4 pieces):

  • 4 slices organic rye bread

  • 4 hard-boiled organic eggs, sliced

  • 200 g fresh organic shrimps

  • 2 tbsp organic mayonnaise

  • Fresh organic chives

Preparation:

  1. Butter the bread.

  2. Layer egg slices, add shrimp and mayonnaise.

  3. Sprinkle with chives.

 

4. Smørrebrød with Cheese & Radishes

 

Ingredients (4 pieces):

  • 4 slices organic rye bread

  • 200 g organic Havarti or other Danish cheese

  • 1 bunch organic radishes, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp organic mustard

  • Fresh cress

Preparation:

  1. Spread mustard on the bread.

  2. Add cheese slices and radishes.

  3. Garnish with fresh cress.

 

5. Smørrebrød with Smoked Salmon & Horseradish

 

Ingredients (4 pieces):

  • 4 slices organic rye bread

  • 200 g organic smoked salmon

  • 2 tbsp organic cream cheese

  • 1 tsp freshly grated organic horseradish

  • Lemon slices & dill

Preparation:

  1. Mix cream cheese with horseradish, spread on bread.

  2. Top with salmon.

  3. Garnish with lemon and dill.
