Die Künstlerin ist mit der Künstlerischen Handwerksgenossenschaft "Künstlerische Keramik und Töpferwaren" seit 1981 verbunden, seit 1994 ist sie als Musterdesignerin tätig.

Zwei Elemente waren immer eine Inspiration für mich: Der Kreis und der Punkt. Dies sind die ältesten Symbole in der menschlichen Kultur. Es ist die Erfindung des Rades, die eine solch schnelles Laufwerk geschaffen hat um das menschliche Leben zu verbessern. Auf der anderen Seite, ist ein Punkt nicht nur ein einzelnes Symbol oder eine Dicke; es ist die Größe in der Ganzheit und die Ganzheit in der Größe. Die Kombination aus zwei Elementen: Dem Kreis und dem Punkt, gibt diverse Möglichkeiten bei der Erstellung verschiedener Muster. Punkte, die vom Kleinsten bis zum Größten durchdringen - oder Punkte von der gleichen Größe sind ebenso ein interessantes dekoratives Element. Auf der anderen Seite, Kreise der gleichen Größe mit einem schmalen oder breiten Kobaltstreifen einzurahmen, damit er die Klarheit und Schönheit der Form unterstreicht. Es sind Anordnungen die ich bisher nicht verwendet habe. Es sind künstlerische Möglichkeiten die mich unaufhörlich inspirieren, neue Beziehungen und Kombinationen.
