Desde 1989, Zofia Spychalska está vinculada a la cooperativa artesanal "Cerámica y Alfarería Artística", y desde 1997 trabaja como diseñadora de patrones.

"Al crear nuevos ornamentos, utilizo elementos de mi vida cotidiana y de mis pasiones. Soy madre de niños pequeños y me fascina su mundo maravillosamente ingenuo y lleno de fantasía.

Yo misma me siento a gusto en este entorno, y por eso me inspiro en la literatura infantil, en dibujos y en situaciones que observamos mientras jugamos o paseamos juntos.

También los viajes me brindan muchas ideas creativas. Cuando viajo, admiro la arquitectura y observo distintos interiores, sabiendo que las piezas que yo decoro algún día formarán parte de esos espacios."

La empresa mayorista de cerámica polaca «Einzigartig» de Rheine ha sido, durante más de 25 años, un socio cercano y diseñador de formas para dos talleres de cerámica polacos.

El bisabuelo del actual CEO, Christian Kindervater, era maestro alfarero y tenía su propio taller en Silesia: Gustav Laske.
