Maria Ciszewska

La artista está vinculada desde 1981 a la cooperativa artesanal "Artistic Ceramics and Pottery" y trabaja desde 1994 como diseñadora de patrones.

Dos elementos se han convertido en fuente de inspiración para mí: el círculo y el punto. Son algunos de los símbolos más antiguos en la cultura humana. La invención de la rueda marcó el inicio de un desarrollo vertiginoso en la vida humana. Por otro lado, un punto no es solo un signo o su grosor; representa tanto la grandeza en su totalidad como la totalidad en lo pequeño.

La combinación de estos dos elementos —círculo y punto— abre infinitas posibilidades para crear diferentes patrones. Puntos que se fusionan, desde los más pequeños hasta los más grandes, o puntos del mismo tamaño, forman un interesante elemento decorativo. Los círculos del mismo tamaño, enmarcados por un borde cobalto estrecho o ancho, destacan la claridad y la belleza de la forma.

Todavía no he agotado este juego de formas. Las posibilidades artísticas siguen inspirándome a descubrir nuevas conexiones y combinaciones.
