Three Special Organic Recipes for Mulled Wine & Punch

 

1. Classic Organic Red Wine Mulled Wine

Ingredients (for 700 ml):

  • 500 ml organic red wine (e.g., Spätburgunder)

  • 100 ml organic orange juice

  • 2 tbsp organic honey or coconut blossom sugar

  • 1 organic orange (sliced)

  • 2 organic cinnamon sticks

  • 5 organic cloves

  • 2 organic star anise

Method:

  1. Combine wine and orange juice in a saucepan.

  2. Add orange slices, cinnamon, cloves, and star anise.

  3. Heat gently without boiling.

  4. Sweeten with honey or coconut blossom sugar.

  5. Pour into a pre-warmed Polish pottery jug and serve.

 

2. White Mulled Wine with Citrus & Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml organic white wine (e.g., Riesling)

  • Juice and zest of 1 organic lemon

  • 1 organic orange (sliced)

  • 3 tbsp organic cane sugar

  • 4 slices organic fresh ginger

  • 1 organic cinnamon stick

Method:

  1. Add wine, citrus juice and zest, and ginger to a saucepan.

  2. Add cinnamon and heat gently.

  3. Sweeten with cane sugar and steep for 10 minutes.

  4. Strain and pour into the jug.

 

3. Alcohol-Free Winter Punch

Ingredients:

  • 400 ml organic apple juice

  • 200 ml organic red grape juice

  • 100 ml organic orange juice

  • 1 organic cinnamon stick

  • 3 organic cloves

  • 1 piece organic vanilla pod

  • 1–2 tbsp organic honey

Method:

  1. Combine all juices in a saucepan.

  2. Add spices and heat gently.

  3. Steep for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Sweeten with honey and serve warm in the pottery jug.
