This exclusive potato and onion storage jar, made of genuine Polish pottery (Bolesławiec ceramics) by Ceramika Artystyczna, is not only a functional container but also a stylish accessory for any kitchen. With a capacity of approx. 3,500 ml, it is perfect for storing potatoes, onions, and other root vegetables.

Four large ventilation holes (each about 2 cm in diameter) near the base ensure optimal airflow and prevent mold. Two sturdy handles allow for safe carrying, even when full. The jar measures approximately 23 cm in height, 22 cm in diameter with handles (about 17 cm without), and stands securely on a 13.5 cm base.

Five special onion dishes (with preparation):

  1. French onion soup

    • Sauté onions in butter, sprinkle with flour, deglaze with white wine, add beef broth, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with baguette and melted cheese.

  2. Baden-style onion tart

    • Roll out yeast dough, top with a mixture of sautéed onions, bacon, and egg-cream filling. Bake at 200 °C for about 40 minutes.

  3. Stuffed onions with minced meat

    • Hollow out large onions, fill with seasoned ground meat, cook in a baking dish with some broth, and gratinate in the oven.

  4. Onion marmalade

    • Sauté red onions in olive oil, caramelize with balsamic vinegar and sugar, reduce with red wine. Serve cold with cheese or meat.

  5. Indian onion bhajis

    • Slice onions into rings, mix with chickpea flour, turmeric, and chili. Deep fry until crispy and serve with yogurt dip.
